So, You’re Supposed to Ask for Affiliate Products to Review, Right?
I’ve read a few awesome posts on the Warrior Forum that say you HAVE to try out affiliate programs before you refer them to your list, followers, blog, etc.
That makes sense, though I’m sure many people would or could debate that.
But I’ve tried to post affliate links all over my main self-help site and I’ve rarely sold anything.
So, I began emailing popular affliate product owners with self-help products that I found in Clickbank and Paydotcom. I read that you’re supposed to email them, say that you’d like to review their product on your site, and when they reply, they’ll send you their product and then you can read it and everything will be wonderful.
You know what’s very strange? I emailed several product owners and perhaps 20% or less have replied to me. Is that normal?
So, wish me luck. I’m about to consume a product and then I’m going to hammer my blog & list about it for a month. Kind of a “book of the month” idea. We shall see.
One last thing: I’m reading here & there that placing unchanged-uncloaked affliate links on your site can kill your rankings. IS THAT TRUE????
