As you well know, it is good to have old links pointing at you…which means you ought to get links yesterday.

But I heard an idea recently that I’d never heard of before, though it makes a lot of sense and I’m sure millions of people have already thought of it.

Imagine if you got links pointing at you from the oldest sites on the net?  I found a cool list of the first domains ever registered.  I’m sure many SEOs have already made use of this list, and they likely know which of those domains (sites) are handing out links with the least amount of effort.

There’s more than 100 domains there; they post several domains that were registered on the same day, and just counted them as one; you’ll understand when you see it.

Interestingly, the first domain ever registered was SYMBOLICS.COM.   I’d love to own it!!
