Not Selling Affiliate Products Is a Good Way To Fail
I never or rarely review affiliate products…in any of the niches I’m involved with.
I’ve heard some good case studies recently by Jack Humphrey talking about one of his students. ie. the guy that started fitnessblackbook.com
One thing that jumped out at me about that was that Rusty, the fitness blogger, has begun to make a ton more cash by simply adding links to affiliate products throughout his blog. I think he added another $1000 per month to his income by doing that in a small soft-launch kind of way.
I know I ought to get my hands on some aff products and review them, then offer them to my main niches (not IM). But I’m just so busy failing at everything, that I just don’t have time to spend reviewing a bunch of books, DVDs, CDs, etc.
I did tweet out a querry asking for some self-help (my main niche) products and someone did send me download links to a bunch of audios. I listened to them but do you think I did anything more than that? Nope. I wonder if I’m in the wrong line of work?
Or maybe my niches are not in my areas of true passion? Hmmm…not knowing your true passion is a good way to fail?
