First off, let me say how easy it is to fail at writing something daily in a blog about failure.

Not that I lack things to say…just because.

Anyway, if you’ve read my post before, you’ll know that I write about how crazy it is that I try & try yet continue to fail at making money online. I do have a self-help blog that gets 2000 visitors a day, but no one buys my affiliate offers. My Adsense income sucks per click, but it’s higher than ever lately.

I have another blog that regularly makes $20 per 1000 pageviews, yet I don’t get that much traffic. I started thinking, what if I got 8000 pagviews per day on that blog like I do on my self-help blog?

So I started focussing on that blog. Now, it’s actually at blogger.com, so the first thing I did was register a domain and copied all my posts over. I have done a bunch of article marketing, and I’m ranking in the top 10 for a bunch of my terms…but NO ONE clicks my Adsense ads! I get way more clicks on the exact same content on my blogger blog.

Isn’t that weird? Of course, this just means I ought to copy that same theme over to my new blog, right? Well, the weirder thing is that I’m using Prosense on my new blog, which I also use on my self-help blog, which enjoys a nice click through rate!

What gives? Why wouldn’t the CTRs be the same? I can only surmize that the visitors I’m getting to the blogger blog are a) just different kinds of people, or b) the white on black background is more favorable to a high CTR??

Anyone ever find that?

I wonder how easy it is to change colors in the Prosense theme…?
