Always Preparing to Make Money
I am always in a mode of preparing to make money, and never in the mode of making money. I assume most failures are like me.
A good preparation medium is Twitter. I’m constantly messing with Twitter in some addictive manner, though I’m getting a little sick of it.
Some people say they have made money with it. Some normal people have 70 thousand followers after a year. I got in on it 15 months ago and now I wish I’d done more. Actually, I really started 2 years ago under my employer’s name, but that was just to impress them that I had thought ahead and secured their name. It worked.
I have my account set up via SocialToo.com to auto-follow people that follow me. For the last week I’ve been trying to follow people that do the same thing, just to boost my numbers a bit. This, I understand, is not a great thing, but a lot of people do it.
But I just read that Biz Stone, the big dude behind Twitter said that they’re going to block that ability? Not sure.

Ah, I understand it better now. Earlier on in Twitter day, some significant users could request that Twitter give them the option of enabling auto-follow. That’s the thing they have disabled.
But they are still going to allow it via 3rd party apps, like socialtoo.com and others. I still autofollow for now, but it doesn’t seem to work all the time. I will likely continue to follow some tweeple just cause I know they’ll follow me back, but it won’t be my focus (like some people).
Anyway, in the end, this post is about wasting time on things that will likely have little effect on a bottom line.
